Together with W.T. Eijsbouts, Professor of Law at the University of Amsterdam and Leiden University, I am working on a manuscript on the philosophy of chance, written in English.

Chance is a fascinating topic. It plays a role in life and action, it brings together several theories and disciplines, and it has a wide range of connotations. In this book we explore the topic in detail, assess its coherence, and argue against recent authors who merely focus on the fallacies of chance. We highlight the many constructive roles that chance fulfills in human practices.
