In 2015 I gave a presentation in De Balie in Amsterdam, about Europe, religion and secularism. The night was organized by Frits Bolkestein, Paul Cliteur and Meindert Fennema, on the occasion of the publication De Succesvolle Mislukking van Europa, to which I contributed a chapter. Other speakers were Lodewijk Pessers, Tamar de Waal, Diederik Boomsma, Yoram Stein and Dirk-Jan van Baar. De Balie videotaped the presentations and subsequent discussion
